Manufacturing Technician B- 2nd shift $27.25 (+2 shift premium)As a Manufacturing Technician B your goal is to use your technical expertise, to be the go‑to person for troubleshooting and repairing production equipment in your area. You'll also be responsible for setting up various production machines to ensure top‑notch quality products are manufactured.
You will do this by:
Maintaining mechanical, electrical and hydraulics systems for a variety of equipment
Perform various operations to alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges and guarding
Troubleshoots and repairs equipment; performs preventative maintenance
Responsible for statistical process charting, interpretation, and trend‑analysis in order to perform process or equipment adjustments to bring parts into specification
Trains employees; assigns and directs work; provides feedback to supervisor regarding employee work performance; addresses complaints and resolves problems
Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 1.5 years’ relevant working experience to include;
Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic skills
Additional Knowledge &
Skills:
Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
Must be able to use computers for email communications and data entry for quality/production systems

Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Ability to use power/vibrating tools over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Exposure to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Position DescriptionUses technical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair plant production equipment. Performs duties associated with the setup of a variety of production equipment to produce quality products.

- Intermediate troubleshooting skills using mechanical, electrical, hydraulic knowledge
- Good teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to operate forklift
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
High School diploma in equivalent education and experience
Experience Requirements1.5 years of technical experience using mechanical, electrical and hydraulic skills
