Wound Care Nurse - RN

Examples of Duties Performed:

* Monitors any skin problems that the patients may have and treat as ordered by physician.

* Administers and records all treatment medications.

* Charts information regarding patient's progress, ailments, medication, symptoms and observations.

* Performs monthly skin assessments on patients.

* Stocks and prepares treatment cart.

* Complies with current federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing care in the execution of assigned duties.

* Administers and records medications following physician orders and established center policy; takes and records resident vital signs and collects laboratory specimens as directed.

* Provides emotional support to residents and their families.
