American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Emergency Dept
- Nights position requiring 2+ years of ER experience and at least 2 completed travel assignments.
- Emergency Department setting with 29 beds plus 8 hallway beds
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Night shift schedule (7p-7a) with block scheduling attempted while meeting weekend requirements
- No call requirements
- No floating requirements
- Cerner EMR used, experience preferred
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ESI Level 5 training required
- TNCC certification preferred
- 2+ years of recent ER experience required
- At least 2 previously completed travel assignments required
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Valid driver's license and US SSN required for consideration
- Provide shift-based nursing care to Emergency Department patients using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Demonstrate critical thinking and leadership in planning safe patient care delivery
- Delegate patient care priorities and provide direction and supervision to assigned staff
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and desired outcomes
- Navy scrub color required
- Holiday coverage required for one major and one minor holiday
- RTO requests must be less than one week and no maximum RTO limit as long as FTE and weekend requirements are met
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local travelers not accepted
