Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room Circulator

Statesboro, Georgia

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days – 4x10hr (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) or 5x8hr (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) | On-site | Call required: 3 first calls, 3 second calls, and 1 weekend per 6-week schedule

• Circulate surgical cases and pull necessary supplies and equipment in preparation for and during procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for patient care in the operating room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other personnel to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Ensure timely case progression, maintain accurate physician preference cards, and communicate updates to patient families
• Scrub in and assist physicians during surgical cases as needed
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and facility policies

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Experience with Robotics, Orthopedic, General, and OB/GYN surgical cases
• C-section experience required
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled

• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
• Experience in a high-volume or acute care surgical environment

• Opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment with a 1:1 patient ratio across a 9-bed OR unit
• 13-week travel contract offering hands-on experience across a broad range of surgical specialties
