Job SummarySupervise food service team to operate Dining Services with the highest level of care, food quality and service. Responsible for customer interaction, order handling, cashier duties, stocking, receiving, and operation and cleaning of dish‑washing equipment.

- Supervise daily functions of the facility.
- Provide guidance and leadership to dining team members to deliver quality food and customer service, ensuring consistent satisfaction.
- Assist in managing inventory, ordering equipment and food supplies as needed.
- Assist with payroll, hiring, scheduling and staff training.
- Answer incoming calls to dining location.
- Monitor dining room for cleanliness and maintain a safe environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) or more years of related work experience.
$18.12 – $19.47 per hour.

- Consistently exhibit engaging customer service.
- Support various constituencies served by the university.
- Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and specific applications needed for the position.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Adhere to university policies and procedures to meet institutional goals and support the university’s mission for student success.
- Knowledge of food service equipment, portion control, temperature management, sanitation regulations, and food preparation practices.
- Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human‑relations skills.
- Work generally performed in an office environment.
- Workweek may occasionally extend beyond 40 hours.
- Travel may be required.
- Work may extend to evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- May be required to maneuver items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Work performed in indoor and outdoor environments.
- Stand, bend, walk and lift as needed throughout the day.
- May be required to perform work in harsh conditions due to extreme temperature or inclement weather.
- Work in an industrial food service setting.
