Job DescriptionThe Student Assistant will support the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering as a Research Assistant on the Statesboro Campus beginning Fall 2026. This position very specifically calls for a candidate who is ready for fast contribution to implementation of a software-defined radio that communicates with a roadside unit located in Statesboro for vehicular communications. Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.
Employment is contingent upon funding.
Assists the investigator in implementing a software-defined radio, collecting data, and writing reports in the area of wireless communications Shift Specifics Up to 20 hours per week Flexible with schedule of availability
Required QualificationsEducational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.
Proposed Salary$20.00 per hour This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
