School Nutrition Cashier

Oversees the day to day financial duties in the cafeteria.

• High school diploma/GED.
• Experience working with a diverse group of people.

• Must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function of the position. Reasonable accommodations will be provided where appropriate.
• Must be able to provide a criminal background check in accordance with Bulloch County Board of Education Policy GAK(1).

• Cashier experience.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office knowledge.

• Keeps accurate and up-to-date records and financial accounts; submits reports in line with schedule.
• Ensures that the collection and accountability procedures for meals served are accurate and current.
• Ensures that all money collected is accounted for and an audit trail is available at any time for review.
• Assists with any food preparation.
• Assists the manager with marketing the program by helping with promotions, bulletin boards, banners, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to perform tasks involving lifting (5-45 pounds), carrying, pushing, and pulling.

Performance will be evaluated annually by the School Nutrition Manager or designated supervisor in accordance with Policy GBI - Evaluation of Personnel.
