We are afamily-owned business group comprised of a $40M manufacturing company and a $62M contract-volume rent-to-own business
, operating under a consolidated holding structure. With a combined accounting team of 10 professionals and Acumatica ERP in place, we are entering a new phase of operational unification and financial discipline.
We are seeking an experienced Group Controller to bring structure, process alignment, and timely reporting across our entities.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys building systems, leading teams, and delivering accurate, actionable data to executive leadership.
What You'll Own Multi-Entity Financial LeadershipLead monthly, quarterly, and annual closes across entities
Oversee consolidations and intercompany eliminations
Ensure GAAP compliance and audit readiness
Deliver reliable consolidated reporting and KPI dashboards
Build strong internal controls and standardized processes
Partner with external auditors and tax advisors
Standard costing and variance analysis
Inventory controls (raw materials, WIP, finished goods)
Job costing and profitability by project
Cap Ex tracking and depreciation management
Production efficiency integration into financial reporting
GAAP-compliant revenue recognition
Portfolio performance metrics (delinquencies, repossessions, residuals)
Credit risk provisioning and state-level compliance
ASC 842 lease compliance
Property-level financial tracking (NOI, occupancy, returns)
Cash flow modeling with ownership
Stabilize close process to ? 6 business days
Standardize accounting processes across entities
Deliver reliable consolidated reporting with drill-down visibility
Strengthen internal control framework
Provide ownership with clear, accurate financial data
10+ years progressive accounting leadership
Multi-entity consolidation expertise
Strong manufacturing cost accounting experience (required)
Deep US GAAP knowledge
ERP experience (Acumatica preferred)
Audit leadership experience
CPA preferred
