This position is responsible for directing clientele to appropriate units to apply for Medicaid, Work First, Food and Nutrition Services, Daycare, CIP, LIEAP, SA, and EA for a staff of 42 employees in the Mooresville Office. This position registers individuals entering the building into NCFAST before contact is made with the Case Manager. This position will research NCFAST to assist with questions and provide instruction to more efficiently assist the customer.
Changes requiring minimal verifications such as addresses and phone numbers will be processed by the initial reception contact. This position scans all documents received from clients visiting the agency into Paper Stream/Compass.
Graduation from high school and two years of paraprofessional or clerical public contact which includes negotiation, interviewing, explaining information, gathering and compiling data, analysis of data, and/or the performance of mathematical or legal tasks; or graduation from high school and one year of experience in an income maintenance program; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
WORK SCHEDULEMonday – Friday / 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
