We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Instructional Facilitator to join our Thunderbird team. The Instructional Facilitator plays a key role in supporting teachers, guiding instructional practices, and enhancing student learning outcomes through the implementation of effective instructional strategies. This position requires strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills to support the professional growth of teachers and ensure the success of students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support Teacher Development:
Collaborate with teachers to model, observe, and provide feedback on instructional strategies that align with best practices and curriculum standards.
* Professional Development:
Design, plan, and deliver professional development and training sessions to build the capacity of staff in areas such as data-driven instruction, technology integration, classroom management, and differentiated instruction.
* Curriculum and Instruction:
Assist in the alignment and implementation of curriculum and school improvement plan to ensure instructional practices are consistent and meet the needs of all students.
* Data Analysis and Progress Monitoring:
Support teachers in analyzing student data to inform instructional decisions. Help teachers set goals and monitor progress to ensure that students achieve targeted outcomes.
* Classroom Support and
Coaching:
Provide one-on-one coaching, co-teaching, and team teaching to help teachers implement instructional strategies effectively. Support teachers in managing classroom environments conducive to learning.
* Collaboration and Communication:
Foster a culture of collaboration within the school, facilitating PLC meetings with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to share best practices, strategies, and resources.
* Stay Current on Educational Research:
Keep up-to-date with the latest research, educational trends, and best practices to provide informed recommendations for instructional improvements.
Qualifications:
* Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education
* Experience:
Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a classroom setting. Prior experience in instructional coaching or school leadership positions is preferred
* Skills:
* Strong knowledge of instructional practices, curriculum development, and student assessment.
* Ability to analyze student data and use it to guide instructional planning.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
* Familiarity with educational technology and tools to enhance instruction.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Certifications:
Valid teaching certification
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with diverse learners and differentiated instruction.
* Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS).
* Experience with leadership or mentoring roles
