Corporate Controls Engineer

• Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC programs on various platforms.
• Integrate production equipment into various supported operations systems.
• Program and control VFD's via PLC controls and/or locally as needed.
• Develop electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Develop, build and troubleshoot panels.
• Support locations remotely on an on-call basis.
• Assist with the management of projects to support the Project Engineers, as needed.
• Travel may be required to fulfill duties, up to 30%; may include international travel.
• Perform any other project/task as assigned by Management.

• Bachelor's Degree in Controls Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Three to five (3-5) years of experience in Controls Engineering required.
• Three to five (3-5) years of experience in manufacturing, (rubber, chemical and/or plastics industry preferred).
• Proven experience with Ignition application platforms for data analysis, reporting, and alarm configurations.
• Demonstrated electrical troubleshooting abilities (480V and below)
• Familiarity with:
  Allen Bradley PLC's.
• Structured text;
  Ethernet IP/Remote IO and Basic IT Networking troubleshooting.
• Lean manufacturing experience.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer/systems skills - MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Demonstrated self-starter and works well with minimal on-location direction.
• Ability to work alone or with others depending on the task but always willing to work in cross-functional teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills, cooperation, collaboration, and team-building skills.
• Solid organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and manage a broad range of responsibilities.

Demonstrates expertise in PLC Programming, Electrical Troubleshooting, and Project Management within manufacturing environments, particularly in the rubber, chemical, and plastics industries. Proficient in using Ignition application platforms for data analysis and reporting, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
