Counseling Coordinator

At Addiction Recovery Medical Services, we are on the lookout for a friendly and dedicated Counseling Coordinator to join our team! In this vital role, you will coordinate our counseling services, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care as they work towards recovery from substance use disorders. You will collaborate closely with our team of counselors and healthcare professionals to create a supportive environment where both staff and patients thrive.

• Typing and filing Treatment Team and Counseling Meeting notes
• Collecting Docusign paperwork and uploading it into the EHR
• Scheduling Monthly/Bi-Monthly/Weekly counseling sessions
• Update monthly patient appointments and Docusign updates to make sure patients have been seen for their session
• Get all important paperwork signed and/or filled out from patients
• Once completed, file paperwork in the appropriate folder for uploading to EHR or the correct counselor's mailbox
• Prepare privilege requests for counseling staff
• Answering phone calls
• Setting up Zoom calls for patients (Zoom stations)
• Check voicemail frequently throughout the day
• Monitor building supplies and notify supervisor when something needs to be ordered
• Keep waiting area, front bathroom and front desk area clean
• Lock/Unlock front doors daily
• Check patients in and out
• Complete daily no-show calls
• Collect all billable counseling tickets daily and verify the information entered is correct
• Check and sign temperature/DVR logs
• Delegate other cleaning duties evenly among counselors and yourself
• Monitor cameras and address any issues that may arise
