Description

What you will do (Essential Functions)- Ability to set up and run CNC rotary tube bending machines such as Soco, Eagle or Addison with limited supervision.
- Set up and operate CNC rotary draw bending machine while conforming to manufacturing tolerances.
- Set up and switch tooling of CNC rotary draw bending machine (Bend Di, Clamp Di, Wiper Di, Pressure Di, Mandrel, Collette, Stop Blocks).
- Program new post bends into CNC bending machine.
- Check drawings to work orders to ensure the correct quality of posts are bent and put out for the job.
Skills and Abilities
)
- Ability to work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in English to communicate with fellow employees and follow work instructions.
- Ability to use required hand tools, power tools, and cutting machines in the assembly process.
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as a tape measure.
- Detail-oriented with a large emphasis on accuracy.
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations under deadlines.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Previous experience with tube bending.
- Previous experience in the manufacturing of complex tube assemblies.
- Certified Production Technician (NCMIT graduate) preferred.
- Prolonged periods of standing for up to 8 hours a day.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
