Daikin Applied is seeking a Sr. Compliance Coordinator to provide critical, timely administrative support to ensure compliance with certifying agencies (UL and ETL) for new and legacy chiller products. The role requires working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with Engineers, Project Managers, and other key players to transition, organize, plan, coordinate, and execute projects on time and on budget.
It involves managing multiple complex projects across a large geography while ensuring efficient resource use.
Location:
Staunton, VA – In office
- Act as the Daikin Applied point of contact for Chillers and coordinate testing and the exchange of engineering information with certifying agencies (UL and ETL).
- Provide execution assistance to the Compliance Engineer, Lead Engineer or PM by preparing status reports, supporting project escalation, scheduling testing, and coordinating meetings and completion of forms.
- Maintain product and component agency files, ensuring they are up to date and all testing is current; communicate status, key dates and upcoming requirements to the appropriate engineer or responsible person.
- Assist with revisions to compliance schedules by generating tasks, estimates, dependencies and milestones.
- Track compliance issues and collaborate with the team to provide timely status updates to the business line or other interested parties.
- Coordinate end‑user training, including setting up sessions and logistics when applicable.
- Communicate all issues to management prior to reaching critical status.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.).
- Demonstrated initiative, problem‑solving skills and strong work ethic.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including well‑developed listening abilities and the capacity to interpret business and/or client needs.
- Knowledge or interest in HVAC products and services.
- PMI certifications.

The typical hourly rate range for this position is $35.25 – $58.03 in Virginia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade for this role. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
