This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators and families, conducting assessments, developing strategies, and fostering a supportive environment to help students thrive both academically and emotionally.
Key
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Experience performing assessments, counseling, and intervention services in a school setting.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and federal/state education regulations.
- Ability to handle caseloads efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing insights and recommendations.
- Offer counseling and consultation services to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Maintain detailed and confidential documentation as required by educational standards and policies.
- Assist with crisis intervention and provide guidance on strategies for classroom management.
