Job Summary

This role manages and estimates labor and material for a high volume of repeatable basic electrical distribution projects, including but not limited to new residential services, service upgrades, temporary meters, fault current investigations, and demolition projects. It conveys company guidelines, policies, and procedures in professional external communication. The role reviews incoming projects and assigns them according to provided guidelines. It communicates electric service requirements to builders, developers, and electrical contractors, and schedules to ensure timely electric service installation.

It may assist with field inspections and staking as needed, support Project Designers in acquiring vital design information, utilize CAD software to retrieve information from files and create desired displays, prepare layouts, and drawings according to engineering specifications. It prepares joint use notifications, CATV permits, underground agreements, billing authorities, etc. Utilizes customer information platforms to correct billing errors, initiate meter orders, and correct facility location information.

Helps manage the office by coordinating meetings and supporting material/supply purchasing. Assists in service restoration during outages and maintains office storm availability systems.

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education. Preferred discipline(s):
Technical Studies or Business Administration. Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above. Associates.

Outdoor work up to 25% of time, travel up to 25% of time.

Expected Hiring Base Salary Range: $47,300 - $61,400.

The expected hiring base salary range is the range we anticipate hiring within for this position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and work location. This is not intended to represent the full salary range for the position or limit future compensation growth.
