About the RoleOur client is seeking a hands‑on, analytically driven Manufacturing Finance Manager to support the financial operations of a large, global production environment. This role partners directly with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to guide decision‑making, improve site performance, and support long‑term strategic planning.
You’ll mentor a small team, build financial models for major capital and operational initiatives, and serve as the go‑to resource for cost insights and forecasting.
What You’ll Do- Consolidate and analyze financial data including budgets, forecasts, actuals, reconciling period‑over‑period variances
- Analyze cost deviations and provide meaningful variance explanations tied to manufacturing drivers
- Model business cases for multiple projects related to global manufacturing footprint and operational improvements
- Lead manufacturing partners through long‑range planning (SII/OP) and short‑range forecasting for both P&Ls
- Evaluate key business drivers and track site performance against plans
- Drive alignment across operations teams, presenting financial insights in clear, actionable formats
- Own the site’s financial strategy, including planning, pacing, and closing activities
- Lead, coach, and develop Finance Analysts to deliver world‑class manufacturing finance support
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 6+ years of finance experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Advanced Excel capabilities with the ability to identify trends and performance patterns
- Experience improving internal controls and processes, particularly around inventory
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to coach and influence cross‑functional teams
