Job DutiesTo manage referrals for admission (can be day, evening, nights, holidays and/or weekends) to include screening referrals for appropriateness, providing information and referral services for those deemed not appropriate or those unable to be accommodated when beds are not available; communicating referral information within the Center; keeping referral and admission statistics.
Minimum Qualifications- Understanding of Code of Virginia relating to child mental health issues
- Good interpersonal skills/ability to relate to a variety of community agency representatives
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient with the use of computers
- Knowledge & understanding of CSA and mental health resources for children and adolescents
- Bilingual Skills Considered
- Veteran
