EMT or Paramedic (Clinic)

Position Overview

Medcor is hiring a full‑time EMT or Paramedic to serve as an Onsite Health Technician in our employer‑based occupational health clinic in Stuarts Draft, VA. Hours are full‑time. The compensation range is $29.00–$31.00 per hour. Sign‑on bonus: $3,000.

The Onsite Health Technician collaborates with medical and operational leadership at Medcor, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure. Day‑to‑day tasks include:

• Personnel and patient care at the on‑site clinic
• Ongoing workers’ compensation case management
• Return to Work (RTW) program facilitation and treatment plan monitoring
• Coordination with outside medical providers

• Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on‑site clinic
• Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees
• Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols
• Build and maintain internal team relationships
• Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts
• Pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings
• Documentation of care using state‑of‑the‑art EMR and other tools
• Case management and medical charting

• Valid EMT or Paramedic licensure
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong computer and technology skills (cell phones, texting, fax machines, EMR software)
• Physical ability to lift a 50 lb bag
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Positive, outgoing personality and willingness to go above and beyond
• Passion for people and quality care

• Experience in a worksite clinic environment
• Relevant occupational health experience
• Background in emergency medicine or critical care
