As a Regional Property Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of multifamily communities, driving performance and resident satisfaction while mentoring on-site teams. Responsibilities- Direct daily operations of a regional portfolio of multifamily properties, ensuring standards are met for maintenance, safety, and resident service.
- Conduct regular site visits, audits, and inspections to maintain high curb appeal and asset integrity.
- Lead, hire, train, and mentor Property Managers and onsite teams to promote a high-performance culture.
- Develop and manage property budgets, financial forecasts, and reporting, analyzing monthly financials to improve NOI.
- Oversee rent collections, expense control, capital project planning, and revenue management strategies.
- Drive leasing performance, occupancy goals, and resident retention through marketing and reputation management.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, company policies, and state/local regulations; manage vendor relationships and risk mitigation.
- Communicate effectively with ownership and senior leadership, providing regular portfolio reports and strategic recommendations.
- 3–5+ years of experience in property management
- Prior experience with multi-family properties required
- Strong financial acumen and experience with property-level P&L management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally as required
- Industry certifications such as CAM, ARM, CAPS, or similar.
- Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi, Real Page, or Entrata.
- Experience with capital improvement projects and asset repositioning.
- Familiarity with local multifamily market dynamics.
- Background in managing conventional, tax credit, HUD, or mixed portfolios.
- Knowledge of advanced real estate marketing strategies.
