Our Staunton, VA facility to looking for a Press Operator for our Printing department. This position will be responsible for leading the operation of the press, which would include overall start-up, shut-down and day-to-day procedures and maintenance of the printing press, while operating in a safe, efficient and accurate manner.

Primary Responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:

* Responsible for a wide variety of production related tasks

* Verifies and follows production schedules, job specifications and instructions

* Responsible for make-ready, set up and operation of press

* Follows quality control procedures to obtain high quality and ensure customer satisfaction

* Monitors all printing and press related processes and makes necessary adjustments

* Performs basic troubleshooting

* Completes job logs, production and quality paperwork

* Responsible for all cleaning, preventative maintenance of presses

* Provides direction, training, guidance to crew members

* Follows all company safety requirements

* Comply with all company rules and regulations

* Performs other duties as required to achieve the overall goals and objectives of the company

An individual in this position must be able to learn and demonstrate the following skills;

* Proficient in reading, writing and speaking to receive and give directions and instructions

* Perform mathematical functions as related to press operations

* Ability to troubleshoot and solve printing problems

* Enhanced listening skills and ability to follow directions

* Safely perform all tasks on and around press equipment

* Knowledge of printing processes

* Mechanical aptitude

* Understands and operates Color Management System

* Understands and operates Quality Management System

* Understands and operates Press Console Functions

* Understands all technical functions of printing press
