Starting Pay: $33.65 - $36.05 per hour

1st Shift, Monday-Thursday, 6:00 am-4:30 pm

The Group Leader-Assembly leads and coordinates activities of a team of production associates in the fabrication and/or assembly of HVAC equipment. The Group Leader monitors and communicates with the Value Stream team on the status of units to assure customer commitments and timelines are met.

• Ensures team members adhere to specified standards of safety, quality, operating procedures, and compliance with company policies.
• Conducts daily Tier 1 meetings at the start of the shift to review pertinent safety information and daily production objectives.
• Provides documented handover information to the appropriate personnel regarding the status of units to assure a seamless transfer; includes the location and stage of each unit in the process.
• Maintains time and performance records for each team member.
• Executes other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Previous experience managing or leading a group of production associates is preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of industrial manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of personnel and departments within the organization.
• Familiarity with the various departments and equipment within the scope of responsibility is preferred.
• Ability to interpret, comprehend, and communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Must have demonstrated mechanical aptitude; a mechanical aptitude exam may be used to determine the extent of aptitude.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
