Join Cadence, a leader in contract medical device manufacturing, as an Injection Molding (Automation) Technician and play a pivotal role in supporting the manufacturing of quality medical devices. This Staunton, VA onsite position is ideal for an individual with expertise in scientific molding and injection molding process development who thrives on delivering high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do:- Collaboration: Partner with design, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure manufacturability, quality, and scalability of new and existing products ensuring seamless transitions from design to production.
- Develop Manufacturing Processes: Design and optimize robust, repeatable, and scalable processes for injection molding and plastics-based manufacturing.
- Process Validation: Oversee process validation activities ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to resolve production issues related to injection molding and automation.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, scientific/injection molding processes and development. Automation experience a plus. Master Molder/RJG certifications are a plus.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, tooling, and materials; experience with mold design and troubleshooting is a plus.
