Shift: 2nd shift, Monday – Friday, 1:50 pm – 9:50 pm

Your Responsibilities:
- Pick or place material on/off racks, stage material for shipment verification, and ensure accuracy of part numbers and quantities
- Receive materials and verify shipments against bills of lading or other records, check for shortages, damages, etc.
- Operate manually controlled rider type propane, gasoline, or electric powered trucks as well as straddle cranes to transport materials in the warehouse, yard, or plant
- Ensure accuracy in reading the rales orders, picklists, work orders, and other documents and prepare orders for shipment
- Assemble wooden or cardboard containers or select preassembled containers to sustain materials in shipment
- Load material on trailers and unload material from trailers
- Maintain daily inspection and check list of powered industrial trucks and other equipment as required, report any safety problems to supervisor
- Search for missing lots or perform a regular running inventory (cycle count) as directed by management due to part shortages or inventory discrepancies and notify supervisor of any discrepancies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment
- Follow all safety rules and instructions
- Work with minimal supervision and check all work
- Perform other duties as needed
Your
Qualifications:
- The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE
- The ability to read and understand blueprints, bills of material, work orders, pick lists, sales order, etc.
- The ability to keep accurate records and reports
- The ability to use and operate a scale, industrial trucks, portable ladders, hand carts, staple gun, basic hand and power tools, banding equipment, and packaging tools
- The ability to operate overhead (bridge) cranes, jib cranes, and straddle cranes
- The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment
