Job Description City of Staunton Recycling Attendant – Part Time
The City of Staunton Public Works Department keeps our city shining. The Recycling and Refuse Division is now recruiting for a part‑time Recycle Attendant to join its team. Successful candidate has responsibility for collecting recyclable materials at our centralized recycling center. Candidate must have great customer service skills and the willingness to assist and/or guide the citizens of Staunton with sorting and collecting materials.
Works up to 30 hours per week (primarily Saturday 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM, but also some shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday).
Must demonstrate strong character and work ethic, be physically capable of lifting approximately 40 pounds on a regular basis, and standing/walking for extended periods of time. Position requires working outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
Hourly rate: $15.00; no benefits. Apply online.
