MEAT​/DEPT LEADER

The Kroger Company - 850 Statler Boulevard - Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, train and direct Meat department associates; perform production and customer service functions; maximize store sales and profits;
Develop maximum customer relations through friendliness and courtesy and implementation of all company policies;
Be alert and assist in store security; handle customer complaints;
Maintain department temperature logs and ensure accurate temperatures;
Train and develop Meat department employees and ensure proper use of learned skills;
Manage pricing, signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity, quality and space allocation;
Provide input on department budgets, goals and results;
Supervise and coach direct reports, complete performance reviews and provide feedback;
Demonstrate ability to manage people and workloads; resolve conflicts professionally;
Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
