Sales Application Engineer

Overview

Daikin Applied seeks a Sales Application Engineer to provide technical expertise to sales representatives, guiding product selection and application.

Location:

Staunton, VA – Hybrid.

• Provide prompt, accurate support to sales representative inquiries regarding special applications, systems or pricing.
• Process requests for modifications or options and other general information not covered by published pricing.
• Stay informed on new products and competitive models in the marketplace.
• Communicate suggested modifications to the company’s products/services to meet customer requirements.
• Provide feedback to product management for product services requirements not met by the current product line.
• Write and/or provide input to assist in preparing technical literature for internal and field applications.
• Participate in product training of sales representatives and customers.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience (preferred).

Typical annual base salary range: $62,000 - $124,300 (Virginia).
