As a Security Officer – Armed Federal Patrol, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government transportation location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle‑area patrols, remain highly visible, and help to deter security‑related incidents through strong presence and clear communication. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and support employees and visitors with professional customer service.

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government transportation location by following security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and public agencies as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, parking areas, right‑of‑way areas, and perimeter routes to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and direct visitors and deliveries according to post orders.
• Prepare complete and accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and observations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or site representatives.

• An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
