Cook – Full‑time
SVJC, a 24‑hour secure detention center serving court‑detained youth through the age of 17, is accepting applications for a full‑time Cook.
Responsibilities- Prepare, cook, serve, and clean food service areas.
- Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies.
- Prefer experience with institutional food‑service operations.
- Prefer knowledge of USDA School Nutrition Program menu format and record keeping.
- Must pass a criminal background check, central registry check, pre‑employment physical (able to lift and carry 40 pounds), driving record check, and drug screening.
- Must be 21 or older.
- Starting salary of $34,000.00.

SVJC is accepting applications for a full‑time Resident Supervisor responsible for ensuring adequate staffing ratios and supervising residents, including male residents during the intake process (pat downs and shower supervision).
Responsibilities- Supervise residents in a secure detention environment.
- Ensure compliance with facility protocols during intake, pat downs, and shower supervision.
- High school diploma required.
- Relevant experience working with children or adolescents.
- Willing to work shifts (days, nights, or swing).
- Must pass a criminal background check, central registry check, pre‑employment physical, driving record check, and drug screening.
- Must be 21 or older.
- Starting salary of $47,921.
