Off-Road Haul Truck Driver - Staunton Quarry
Rogers Group, headquartered in Nashville, TN, is a 115‑year‑old privately held aggregates and asphalt highway construction company with quarry and asphalt construction operations in 13 states.
We are seeking an Off‑Road Haul Truck Driver for the stripping crew based at Staunton Quarry in Staunton, VA. The successful candidate will have familiarity and experience operating articulated and/or rigid‑frame haul trucks and will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
Responsibilities- Operate haul trucks to remove overburden and stripping material for quarry production.
- Move shot rock from the pit to the crusher and begin the crushing process, as needed.
- Perform daily pre‑op and post‑op inspections, documenting in compliance with company policies.
- Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as directed by management.
- Communicate effectively in the position.
- Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
- Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations.
- Dedication to safe work practices.
- Previous experience operating both rigid‑frame and/or articulating haul trucks preferred.
- Ability to perform general labor and clean‑up duties on the ground and in the plant as needed.
- Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate loud noises.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist coworkers or supervisors with other duties as required.
- Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed.
- Pass pre‑employment drug screen.
- Provide valid documentation for the I‑9 Immigration document.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record and Valid Driver’s License required.

Wages are dependent on experience.
