$17.00/hour + $500 Sign-On Bonus if you do not have your P Endorsement. We will sponsor your P Endorsement and bring you up to $21 an hour once you have the endorsement.

RMS is hiring dependable CDL drivers with a Passenger Endorsement to provide safe, reliable public transportation to our local community. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring successful completion of DOT screenings; some routes carry minimum-age and insurance-related requirements.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Safely operate company vehicles to transport clients to scheduled appointments
- Assist passengers boarding/exiting and operate wheelchair lifts
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections per company policy
- Maintain accurate trip and mileage records
- Communicate with dispatch and management as needed
- Keep vehicles clean and represent RMS professionally
- Valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement(if you do not have your P-endorsement, we will sponsor your training!)Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Ability to pass DOT drug screen, physical, and background check
Must be at least 21 (insurance requirement)
Preferred: transportation/customer service experience, experience assisting passengers with mobility needs, CPR/First Aid certification PAY &
- $21.00/hour, plus a $500 sign-on bonus
- Employer Sponsored P-Endorsement training (Must hold CDL for at least 14 days.)
- Safety Incentive Program (SIP): up to 8% annual incentive opportunity (safety performance + year-end review, combined)
- Annual cost-of-living adjustment (3% proposed for July, pending final approval)
- Year-End Christmas Bonus (amount TBD)
- Blue Cross health insurance for full-time employees
- PTO: accrues 0.5 hr per hour worked, capped at 40 hours
- Sick time: accrues 1.5 hrs per 40 hours worked1 additional week of vacation at 5 years of service

Growth opportunities within
- Full-time = 30+ hrs/week; part-time = 20 hrs/week. Typical shifts run 8–10 hours
- Routes may be set daily routes or demand-response, and can vary with service needs
- Frequent entering/exiting vehicles; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist passengers; outdoor exposure
- Onboarding and training required before assignment; must comply with RMS policies and uniform standards
