Warehouse Supervisor, 1st shift

Daikin Applied is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor on 1st shift.

Location: Staunton, VA - In-Office

Shift: 1st shift

• Coordinate communications between shipping/receiving department and customer service/purchasing group to ensure quality customer support
• Develop, maintain, and execute procedures for the quality handling, packaging, labeling, shipping, and receiving of materials
• Assign daily job responsibilities to shipping and receiving department employees based on availability of resources and inbound/outbound shipping volumes
• Schedule temporary employees as needed based upon availability of resources and inbound/outbound shipping volumes
• Train and monitor shipping/receiving department employees in areas of job functions, company policies, and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate communications between shipping/receiving departments and other departments to continuously improve the warehouse's ability to service customers
• Develop improvements in warehouse policies and procedures to promote increased business profitability, customer support, and employee well‑being
• Work with other groups within the Daikin parts organization as needed to resolve problems within the business
• Administer company policies as needed

• High school diploma or GED
• 2-4 years of related experience
• Associate’s degree (preferred)
• People leadership experience (preferred)

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $59,500 to $97,900 in VA. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
