Are you detail-oriented, organized, and committed to accuracy? We are seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to support our warehouse and inventory operations onsite in Staunton, VA
. In this role, you will help ensure inventory accuracy, maintain records, support shipping and receiving activities, and collaborate with multiple departments to keep operations running smoothly.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment activities.
- Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, and shortages.
- Partner with various internal stakeholders to support inventory needs.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Ensure materials are properly labeled and stored in designated locations.
- Update inventory records accurately for all incoming and outgoing products.
- Pick, pack, and prepare materials for customer orders or production requirements.
- Ensure shipments are accurate, properly labeled, and meet shipping standards.
- Coordinate with shipping personnel to ensure timely deliveries.
- Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures.
- Ensure inventory practices comply with company standards and inventory management methods, including FIFO and FEFO principles.
Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with inventory management, ERP, or warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with shipping carrier software (UPS, Fed Ex, etc.) is a plus.
- Understanding of inventory control processes and warehouse best practices.
- Experience generating reports and maintaining electronic documentation.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull inventory and materials.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and stretching.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts.

Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm
40 hours per week with possibility of overtime based on business need.
