** Patient Access Representative,
** you will serve as a vital link between our patients and diagnostic services. In this role, you will manage essential clerical operations, from processing diagnostic imaging paperwork and ensuring accurate patient registration to handling high-volume telephone inquiries with professionalism. You will be responsible for the end-to-end scheduling of imaging studies, which includes the critical task of determining insurance pre-authorizations to ensure seamless this position you must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment where details matter.

Schedule:
** Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
*
* What You’ll Do:
*** Perform Diagnostic Imaging paperwork and clerical tasks.
* Complete accurate registration and scheduling of department patients.
* Answer telephone calls and transfer patients appropriately.
* Schedule imaging studies for patients and optimally perform such duties including pre-authorization determination.
* Respond to patient requests for information.
* Supply reports and images to outside entities utilizing
* Maintaining quality customer service and patient confidentiality at all times.
* Performing other related duties incidental to the work described herein.## Qualifications experience in medical reception and radiology reception Epic experience preferred aptitude in verbal and written communications including age appropriate communication possession of US proof of citizenship or right to work in the US possession of a driver's license or analogous documentation
GED required
