Conveniently located on the second floor of our patient tower, our Family Birth Unit includes:

• One triage room
• 5 spacious Labor and Delivery suites
• Two with labor tubs
• One Operating Room
• Newborn Nursery

We are currently seeking a dedicated Labor & Delivery RN for a full-time, night shift position. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator who connects effortlessly with a diverse patient population who thrives in fast-paced environments. A high level of critical thinking is necessary with the ability to multi-task under pressure and swiftly adapt to high-risk, unpredictable clinical situations. If you are a highly skilled, compassionate, and dedicated RN with a minimum of two years of L&D experience.

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, high quality, direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process to care for mothers and their newborns.

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with diverse populations and possess personal sensitivity to the needs and experiences of others with a non-judgmental attitude.
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks and appropriately adapt to diverse and high-risk situations to offer the best possible care to patients.
• Ability to manage time in an organized fashion, planning and prioritizing work under pressure.

• Current unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Oregon
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS
• ACLS and NRP required within six months of hire
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum nursing
