HVAC Installer – Residential & Light Commercial

Pay: $29–$35/hr DOE

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer with 4–6 years of experience to lead installs, manage small crews, and provide excellent customer service on-site. The ideal candidate shows up ready, owns their work, and keeps jobs moving efficiently. There is a clear path to Lead HVAC Journeyman for candidates who demonstrate skill, leadership, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems in residential settings, with occasional light commercial work
  • Interpret layout plans, equipment specifications, and installation guidelines
  • Maintain professional communication with homeowners and team members
  • Supervise small teams, mentor apprentices, and foster accountability
  • Ensure high-quality, code-compliant installations
  • Uphold safety standards and lead by example
  • Troubleshoot field challenges quickly and professionally
  • Maintain clean, organized, and efficient worksites
  • Wire low-voltage thermostats
Qualifications
  • 4–6 years of HVAC installation experience
  • Experience coaching apprentices and managing workflow on-site
  • Strong communication, reliability, and accountability
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in reading manuals, wiring diagrams, and layout plans
  • High attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
  • EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal)
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • NATE Certification (preferred)
