About the Role:

Reporting to the Associate Director, Programming,the Program Coordinatoris responsible forsupporting the development, delivery, coordination, and administration of all Professional and Continuing Studies (PCS) programs. The incumbent liaises with internal and externalpartners, supports registration and records processes, and contributes to initiatives that strengthen PCS program offerings and enhance Brock’s reputation as a leader in lifelong learning.

The Program Coordinatorprovides program coordination, student advising, admissions support, and quality assurance functions. Acting as a key resource for leadership, instructors, and learners, the incumbent ensures smooth program operations, consistent application of policies and procedures, and continuous improvement across all PCS activities.

The
Program Coordinator
will:

  • Coordinateday-to-dayoperations of assigned PCS programs to ensure efficient delivery andhigh-qualityservice;

  • Supportend-to-endadministration of programs, including scheduling, registration, documentation, and learner support;

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and current learners, faculty, instructors, and internal/external partners;

  • Maintainaccurateprogram schedules, records, student files, and departmental documentation;

  • Prepare and process instructor and partner contracts, invoices, and honoraria;

  • Support course collection, timetabling, and scheduling to ensure effective program delivery;

  • Provide enrolment projections and related data to supportdecision makingfor program or policy changes;

  • Coordinate onboarding for independent contractors in collaboration with the Associate Director, Programming;

  • Respond to inquiries from prospective and current learners, providingaccurateandtimelyinformation about program requirements, eligibility, and registration processes;

  • Manage admissions processes, including application review, document collection, and maintenance of applicant files;

  • Address learner concerns and escalate complex issues whenappropriate;

  • Organize materials, track revisions, and coordinatepartnerfeedback for curriculum review cycles;and

  • Monitor and analyze program performance metrics,andidentifyopportunities to improve program quality, processes, and learner experience,forevidence-basedimprovements.

    Key

    Skills and Experience:

  • College diploma or degree (, office administration, business administration, education) and/or equivalent combination of education and experience;

  • Experience in program coordination, academic administration, admissions, or student services within a postsecondary or continuing education environment;

  • Knowledge of the Professional and Continuing Education programs offered at Brock;

  • Understanding of the community college and private and public sectors of adult education; 

  • Proficiencywith student information systems, desktop publishing, database experience,and Microsoft Office tools;
