Financial Services Associate – Senior (Branch Sales/Leadership)
This role is located at 4520 Ontario Street, Beamsville, ON L3J 0B7. The Financial Services Associate will partner with members and internal teams (Wealth, Small Business, Mobile Mortgage Specialists) to deliver advice‑based banking solutions, promote Meridian products, and drive revenue and member relationship growth.
Responsibilities- Understand member financial needs and provide appropriate advice and investment recommendations.
- Offer large or complex credit and investment advice, including approvals or recommendations within authorized limits.
- Proactively identify and promote Meridian products and services to expand member portfolios.
- Achieve and exceed individual and team business goals, including revenue generation and sales targets.
- Manage member portfolios to build and deepen relationships, ensuring exceptional service and seamless experience.
- Support branch initiatives, including digital ambassador programs, omni‑channel integration, and community engagement plans.
- Resolve member concerns at first point of contact and refer more complex issues as needed.
- Maintain compliance with audit, policy, and regulatory requirements, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
- Collaborate with branch leadership to implement corporate strategies and support the achievement of Retail Experience goals.
- Post‑secondary education (or equivalent) and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a financial services sales environment with a proven record of sales success.
- MFDA license (or willingness to obtain within a reasonable period).
- Strong business acumen, financial industry knowledge, and proficiency with computer systems.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and consultative skills.
- Experience with credit underwriting, investment advice, and mutual‑fund accreditation preferred.
- Ability to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, when required.
- Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and a customer‑centric mindset.
- Proficiency with virtual technology platforms and the ability to host remote member meetings.
- Willingness to travel locally for branch and community engagements as needed.
- Salary range: CAD $52,000 – $78,000 annually.
