Become a part of Canadian Tire's Fraud Strategy team as a Student Intern focused on analytical problem-solving. Engage with fraud detection technology in a collaborative learning environment.

This role is designed for students pursuing degrees in Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science. You will contribute to developing strategies that mitigate fraud losses while analyzing payment and behavioral data. Focus areas include fraud trend identification and collaboration with business units to enhance fraud detection efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze payment and behavioral data for fraud detection

• Maintain fraud detection strategies within multiple platforms

• Identify existing and new fraud trends proactively

• Support fraud operations with analytical inputs

• Assist in investigations with data analysis

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant post-secondary program

• Demonstrated analytical and mathematical skills

• Programming experience with Python, R, SAS, or SQL

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
