Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking a talented Accounting Manager to take full ownership of accounting and financial reporting within a dynamic multi-location operation. This high-visibility role partners with senior leadership, executives, and operational teams to provide actionable financial insight and ensure strong reporting integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with variance analysis

• Maintain and oversee general and subsidiary ledgers

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes

• Prepare year-end working papers and support external audits

• Ensure accurate data processing and reporting within ERP systems

• Complete regulatory filings and tax returns, including T5 and T5018

• Provide financial guidance in operational and leadership meetings

• Implement and maintain financial controls and processes

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team to deliver timely, accurate results

Qualifications:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field

• CPA designation required

• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence

• Experience in multi-location operations and ERP systems (Oracle an asset)

• Advanced Excel skills

• Proven leadership and team development experience

• Project-based accounting experience is a plus, but not required
