Location: St. Catharines
Elevate the marine industry as a Scheduler with Ontario Shipyards in St. Catharines. This permanent full-time role involves dynamic project planning and onsite assessments.
As a critical member of the team, you will collaborate with the VP of Operations to turn technical drawings into actionable instructions. This role demands 3+ years of experience in a shipyard with a focus on operational planning and scheduling. Utilize Primavera P6 for effective project management and ensure timelines are adhered to throughout the project's lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize tool needs and workforce for vessel projects
• Partner with teams to forecast labor and timelines
• Transform project files into detailed task guidelines
• Provide weekly look-ahead reports and analyze progress
• Facilitate subcontractor management and track performance
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years in ship repair or construction planning
• Expertise in Primavera P6 scheduling software
• Understanding of marine structural and mechanical systems
• Ability to work physically in shipyard scenarios
• PMBOK/PMP or Six Sigma qualifications are beneficial
