Landscape Carpenter Crew Leader

• Preparation of jobsite prior to the begining of job
• Prepare layouts and build foundations
• Building of decks, fences, pergolas, screens etc..
• Schedule and co-ordinate work on jobsite
• Load and unload materals, tools, and equipment required for project
• Operate various hand tools, power tools, and equipment used to complete project
• Read and interpret structural drawings and designs
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment
• Supervise other employees
• Complete daily paperwork
• Comply with all company policies and procedures

• Completion of high school and college or technical training
• 3-5 years of experience with general carpentry
• Capable of operating tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Time Management skills
• Must possess a valid drivers license with clean record
• Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required
• Ability to work both independently with little supervision and as a part of a team
• Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks
• Speak, read and write English

• Ability to work with hand tools, small equipment, and materials
• Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through the work shift
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent stamina is required
• Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
• Work outdoors in various conditions including heat, humidity, rain, cold, dust and noise

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $30 to $40 /hour
