PAY RANGE INFORMATION: Pay $26.11 per hour Student will practice from 5-7 on Tuesdays at SSHS and 6-7 on Thursdays off site. Three hours per week of practice and additional for any games. This is a temporary, hourly, season-only position. Not benefit eligible
JOB SUMMARY: General duties include but not limited to:
- Help the student athlete prepare for practice with clothing and meeting location
- Communicate with coaches of any special considerations for the day
- Communicate with coaches about absences, change to schedule, workout plan, etc (along with parents)
- Help in connecting the student with other teammates so that they feel connected and
- Accompany the student athlete to the team meeting and then to the specific training squad for the day
- If the para travels with the student to a competition, then they will accompany the student for the entirety of the event
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to maintain discipline with large groups of students.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with students, staff, co-workers, administrators and parents.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Decision Making: An example of a typical decision made by an individual in this position is to interpret policies/procedures and best practice. An incorrect decision made by this position could impact the district legally causing financial condition of district to be affected. Errors made in decision‑making could potentially result in substantial cost to the District or damage the credibility of the District.
Language
Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond professionally to questions from groups of parents, community members, commissions, colleagues and Board of Education.
Mathematical
Skills:
ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, discounts, commissions, proportions, percentage, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, and geometry
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract concrete variables. Ability to analyze and use data to supervise the delivery of instruction and the school improvement process.

Proficient use of technology which includes: basic operations and concepts, word processing, spread sheets, internet usage, critical evaluation of information, data analysis, email, integration of technology.
