Director of Nursing/Leadership

Seeking an experienced RN with leadership and management experience for a 13-week contract, with an ASAP start date. Requirements include an active RN license, previous nursing management or leadership experience, and director of nursing experience is strongly preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are required. Onsite housing will be available.
$87.00. Offsite Housing   $95.00. Schedule requirements include being on call Monday to Sunday, 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM, including weekends. On call will be $500/week for on call and call back hours will be paid at the normal hourly rate. This position requires a schedule that supports the facility’s night-shift to see their presents. The schedule can be structured as two 12-hour shifts plus two 8-hour shifts for a 4-day workweek, or Monday and Wednesday: 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Other two scheduled days: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Flexibility is available within these options, but the schedule must meet the facility’s coverage needs.

Director of Nursing (DON)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise all nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate nursing team members.
• Ensure high-quality resident care and oversee assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations and lead survey readiness efforts.
• Monitor quality measures, infection control, medication management, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Manage staffing schedules and ensure appropriate clinical coverage.
• Investigate incidents, address resident and family concerns, and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, administration, and interdisciplinary teams to support resident outcomes.
• Oversee nursing department operations, policies, procedures, and resource management.

Interview Process:
The plan will be to have two rounds of interviews with the facility. The first would be roughly 30 minutes, and the second would be up to 60 minutes long.

  Travelers are responsible for bringing their own cooking appliances.

  Provided.
• No pets/no guests allowed.
• Travelers must arrive before 4:00 PM. Late arrivals will not be granted access and will need to secure last-minute housing.
• A minimum of 7 days’ notice is required for early arrival requests. A $250 fee will be assessed for rooms left in poor condition.
