Retail Scan Associate; Steamboat Springs

Overview

This is a permanent PART-TIME role. Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store).

Being a Retail Scan Associate offers an opportunity in retail, providing workplace independence, some flexibility in hours, and job consistency. There will be continuous physical activity throughout the workday shift.

• Visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes in numerous locations throughout each store.
• Complete Display Scanning across the entire store on a weekly basis; this may take several hours.
• Provide quantity details for approximately 45% of the products scanned, as required.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and maintain dependability and quality-driven performance.
• Participate in Custom Projects (additional product detail work) when requested by clients, which can add 30 minutes to 2 hours per week per store.

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach up to 6 feet, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven and a self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
