As a Tax Associate you will have a dedicated team provide the training you need. You will have flexibility, support, and avenues for growth.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face‑to‑face and via virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email)
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services>
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration
• Grow your tax expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
• Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, supportive environment
• Ability to work a minimum of 25–35 hours weekly during tax season and up to 40 hours during peak weeks

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course
• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone, and chat
• Effective communication in person, over the phone, and in writing
• Must meet all IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions will depend on experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location.

Pay Range: $11.00 – $27.00 per hour.
