Technology Specialist

SALARY RANGE: $35,000 - $60,000 (TBD based on experience)

EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent certification.

REPORTS TO: Technology Director.

This individual will assist with technology needs of the district including the maintenance of the district website, network systems, helpdesk support, as well as providing professional development training for faculty and staff members.

• Maintain and update District 194 Website on a regular basis.
• Assist with procuring and distributing technology items, as well as providing staff training.
• Maintain and update inventory of district technology assets.
• Manage and repair student Chromebooks.
• Assist with meeting setups providing audio/visual supports.
• Assist in managing phone systems.
• Assist in managing door access systems.
• Assist in managing camera systems.
• Assist in managing network systems, including Active Directory, Google Workspace, Power School, Print Servers, and Web servers.
• Maintain and periodically test district backups.
• Assist with district help desk needs, tasks include managing and assigning help desk tickets.
• Assist with evening event video recordings as requested.

• Three years of experience working in a related field.
• Experience working with and managing/repairing Windows, Mac, and Chromebook devices.
• Thorough knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, and DNS.
• Experience managing Google Workspace environments.
• Experience working with Power School.
• Experience working with Clever.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Mid‑Senior level.

Full-time, 12 month term.
