What We Are Looking For

Bender Companies is looking for an experienced real estate professional to join our team as a Maintenance Technician
. Ideal candidates should be hard‑working, reliable, honest, and excited to join the team. Organizational and maintenance skills are required. Candidates must also be self‑motivated and be able to take direction well.

Full-time

$21-$23 per hour

• 8‑hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On Call

• Reliable transportation to get to work
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Valid Driver's License
• Property maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

As a Maintenance Technician you will be tasked with the upkeep and maintenance of our property. In this role you will be working closely with the technician team to ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner, as well as keeping residents up to date and informed throughout the maintenance process.

• Maintain grounds free of trash, leaves, and broken branches.
• Ensure completion of all service requests, work orders, and other tasks as assigned.
• Inspect the community on an ongoing basis, recording, and correcting deficiencies.
• Help conduct ongoing preventative maintenance.
• Deliver notices to residents.
• Responsible for being on‑call in the event of an emergency.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position will require you to work on‑site at our property in Steger
.
