National Financial Manager

A leading property organisation is seeking an experienced National Financial Manager to provide strategic financial leadership across a multi-regional property portfolio. Reporting to the Financial Director, this role will drive financial performance, portfolio optimisation, capital planning, and strategic decision-making while partnering closely with executive leadership and regional teams.

• Lead national budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash flow management across multiple regions.

• Analyse portfolio and asset performance, identifying financial risks, opportunities, and value enhancement initiatives.

• Prepare financial feasibility studies, ROI analyses, and business cases for capital expenditure, refurbishments, acquisitions, and strategic projects.

• Develop executive dashboards, management reports, and commercial insights to support informed decision-making.

• Monitor portfolio profitability, operating costs, and financial performance while driving operational efficiencies.

• Support long-term portfolio growth strategies and strategic asset management initiatives.

• Ensure consistency in financial reporting, governance, and operational controls across all regions.

• Collaborate with regional management and executive teams to achieve financial and strategic objectives.

• Lead, mentor, and align finance teams while promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Property Studies, or a related field.

• Professional qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, or CFA will be advantageous.

• 8–10 years' experience in property finance, commercial finance, asset management, corporate finance, or investment analysis.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior financial leadership role.

• Proven experience managing multi-regional portfolios.

• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, feasibility studies, and strategic financial planning.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills.

• Excellent analytical, commercial, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Strong report writing, presentation, and executive communication skills.
