Wine Estate Hospitality Manager

Our client, a distinguished wine estate in the heart of the Cape Winelands, is seeking an accomplished Wine Estate Hospitality Manager to oversee all guest-facing operations in Stellenbosch . This role is responsible for delivering exceptional experiences to visitors, managing the tasting room, restaurant, and any accommodation facilities, ensuring the highest standards of service excellence. You will be a key figure in representing the estate's brand and commitment to quality, driving revenue, and fostering a memorable and sophisticated atmosphere for guests from around the world.

• Manage and lead the hospitality team, including tasting room staff, restaurant servers, and potentially accommodation hosts, ensuring high performance and service standards.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the wine tasting room, restaurant, and any other guest-facing facilities.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the guest experience, focusing on personalized service and creating unique brand interactions.
• Manage budgets for hospitality operations, including revenue forecasting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations.
• Collaborate with the winemaking and marketing teams to align hospitality offerings with the estate's brand identity and promotional activities.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality management, preferably within the wine or luxury tourism industry.
• A strong understanding of wine, winemaking processes, and wine tasting etiquette is essential.
• Proven track record in managing teams, driving sales, and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with POS systems and hospitality management software.
